INS Vikrant is largest warship to be built in India

INS Vikrant is named after its forerunner, who was beneficial in liberating Bangladesh from Pakistan during the 1971 war.
India can now deploy an aircraft carrier on both its eastern and western seaboards, allowing it to increase its maritime presence.
The warship had been in the works for over a decade.
It has approximately 2,200 compartments designed for a crew of approximately 1,600 people, including specialized cabins for female officers and sailors.
